The Ministry of AYUSH and the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) are working on four medicines of AYUSH which will be used to treat the coronavirus. On Thursday, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of AYUSH Shripad Naik gave this information on Twitter. He said that all drug trials would begin within a week.
Traditional Medicinal System Will Show Path in Epidemic
Shripad Naik tweeted, “The Ministry of AYUSH and CSIR are working together on the AYUSH formula against Corona and its trial will start within a week. These will be used as add on therapy and standard care for Kovid-19 patients. I am confident and hopeful that our traditional medicinal system will show us the way out of this epidemic. ‘
At the same time, according to the data released by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, 3722 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and 134 people have died. After this, the total number of corona positive cases across the country has risen to 78,003, of which 49,219 are active, 26,235 people have become healthy or have been discharged from hospital and 2549 have died.
After the number of infected is above 78 thousand, India has reached 12th place in the list of countries with more than 50 thousand infections. Maharashtra is the most affected state due to Corona. The state’s condition is continuously deteriorating. The state has 25,922 people infected with the virus and 975 people have died. At the same time 5,547 people have recovered from the infection.
