The cause of death for los angeles news anchor chauncy glover has been revised.

The Emmy-Winning Journalist's Family Announced News of Glover's Death on Tuesday, Nov. 5. in their statement Kcal newsWhere Glover was anchor for just over a year, his family did share any additional information about his death at 39.

In a News release on Wednsday, Feb. 19, The County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner Determined The Cause of Death as Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Chloroethane and Meethamphetamine. The manner of death is accidental.

Glover was found unresponsive in his home on nov. 5 and his death was pronounced by fire department personnel at 12:40 am that Same Day, The Medical Examiner's Office Said. A Deputy Medical Examiner Completed An Examination on Nov. 6, and the cause and manner of death were certified on Feb. 19.

In their statement to kcal news, glover's family said they “devastated by the unimaginable loss of our beloved chauncy.”

“He was more than a son and brother,” they continued. “He was a beacon of light in our lives and a True Hero to His Community.”
