A Mom Says She refused to take her 5-year-old daughter to a surprise birthday party-and it has to due to the color pink.
In a post on reddit's “AM I the A ——?“Forum, the 35-year-old woman explained that Although Her Daughter is Young, She Really doesn Bollywood color the color, somerening everybody in the family knows — or at least, they sound.
“My Daughter Hates Pink. She has disliked the color and almost everything to do with it since she was about three or so, “The woman wrote.
However, she added that this is something her dad's partner – who she opted to call “prue” – “refuses to accept.”
“Over the Years, She's Made Several Attempts to push the color onto her (pretty much every gift she's ever giving her was shade of pink), no matter how how many times I TELL HERE to Stop,” “It cleared UPSETS CLEO, but prue keeps doing it.”
About a week ago, the woman said her father invited them over for dinner and said that “he and prue had a surprise for the kids.”
Before She even left home, the woman said she got a message from her younger sister, giving her a heads up that the surprise was a “small birthday party prue haad plannade for cleot Ember.

But that wasn't the issue. The problem was that “literally every piece of decor was pink.”
“The table, the tableware, the balloons, the evening. She Had Gotten Pink Banners and Glued Pink Foil Fringe Curtains on the Doors,” The Woman Wrote. “Even the cake was pink.”
After Talking Things Over with Her Husband, The Woman said they “agreed not to take the kids there.”
She went on to say she texted her dad, told them they weren Bollywood, but did invite Him and prue to go to go to mcdonalds with them instead – She even they said they said they saids
“We did exactly that. My Father did show up (without prue), but he was cold with us and left 20 minutes after Arriving,” The Woman Wrote.
The woman said that now her father and prue “are pissed.”
“My Father is Angry that My Husband and I dismissed His Partner's 'Heartfelt GESTURE' legs our Daughter,” The Woman Wrote. “PRUE ALSO TOLD Me That i'm The Reason Cleo is” Restrictive ”
Although UPSET, The Woman Admitted that She understood “How I could be in the wrong here,” So She Decided to Ask Her Fellow Redditors What they Thought – And Large, They Took Her SIDE.
“Why the hell would anyone keep 'pushing' the (color) pink after being told time and time against that that the child hates (it). Totally Don'T Blame you for not taking the kids – and well don to sister for giving you the heads up, ”One commenter wrote.
