The Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) has unveiled a ₹ 1,534.27-Crore Budget for the 2025-26 Financial Year. Of this, ₹ 1,018.23 Crore is earmarked for experture, while ₹ 516.04 Crore will be carried forward to the next Fiscal. The Estimates also include ₹ 670.23 Crore carried over the 2024-25 Financial Year.
The projectioned expert for 2025-26 is ₹ 352.52 Crore Higher Than the Revised Estimate of ₹ 665.73 Crore for 2024-25. Similarly, the expected Revenue Stands at ₹ 864.04 Crore – an increase of ₹ 207.83 Crore over the Previous Year's Revised Revenue Estimate of ₹ 656.21 Crore.

Mr. Srinivasulu said that of the ₹ 187.61 Crore Estimated Capital Expenditure for 2025-26 from GMC's Own Revenues, ₹ 32.08 Crore (17.1%) will be allocated to SCEDULED CASTES (Sc) Resident ₹ 9.99 Crore (5.33%) to Scheduled Tribes (ST) Areas, ₹ 9.37 Crore (5%) For Women and Child Welfare, ₹ 75.07 Crore (40%) for Slum Development, and the Remining ₹ 61.10.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.10 Cr Expenditure.
He noted that a major portion of this expert would go towards strengthening social infrastructure, include drainage systems, road construction, road construction, Avenue Plants and Enhancing Green Spaces City.
