Brian Setzer 'Cannot Play Guitar' Following Autoimmune Diagnosis

Brian Setzer is giving a Candid Health Update.

The Stray Cats Guitarist, 65, Penned A Heartfelt Note to Fans on Friday, Feb. 14, Revealing on Instagram and X That he was recently diagnosed with an auto-emmune disease and cannot play guitar.

“Hi Everybody, I just wanted to check in with you all. Towards the end of the last stray cats tour I noticed that my hands were cramping up, “He wrong about the band's summer 2024 tour.

“I've since discovered that I have an auto-immune disease. I cannot play guitar, “He Reveled. Setzer described the sensation as “Wearing a pair of glows when I try to play” and confirmed he does not have pain.

“I have seen some progress in that I can hold a pen and tie my shoes. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I was at a point where I could eat even do that, “He shared. “Luckily, I have the best hospital in the world down the block from me. It's called the mayo clinic. ”
