Amanda Seyfied is Giving Joni Mitchell a Run for Her Money.
The Long bright river Actress Showed off her singing skills during a March 4 appearance on The tonight show starring jimmy fallonwhen the host asked seyfred if she played any instruments while discusing her singing talents in movies like Mamma mia and Les Misrables,
Seyfried, 39, said that she started playing the piano when she was seven along with the class, guitar and the dulcimer – which she learned how to play the play during the Pandemic.
Fallon, 50, then broke out a dulcimer that he keeps handy 'just in case anyone plays “the instrument and asked seyfred to demonstrate for the audience.

“I would love to play something that's about a state which deserves a lot of love right now,” Seyfred said, referring to “California” by mitchell, 81. ” Blue Album on the Dulcimer, and I Learned a Lot of Her Stuff from the Blue Album when the world stopped. ”
“And i'm gonna play it for you, but guess what? I'm nervous,” She added before stramming the opening notes to “California.”
“Oh, but california/California, I'Mcoming Home/I'm Going to See the Folks I Dig/I'll even kiss a Sunset Pig/California, I'm Coming Home,” Seyfied Sang in the Chorus, Sounding Insnight Mitchell.

The “River” Singer Wrote “California” While Traveling in Europe, Where She Menments Paris, Greece, and Spain. She spoke about writing the song during hering Live at the bbc television center Show in September 1970.
“This year i took some time off -touring and went off on some adventures of my own and this is kind of a love letter back home,” She said, introducing the track. “The first verse I wrote in paris – and the next verse I wrote in spain, and the last verse I Wrote once I Got Home Again.”
