Explorers Inn Lodge…
Hello together
Me and Stephanie (from Canada), who met you in Arequipa, decided to do a jungle trip. Since the National Park was so expensive for me, I kept exploring other alternatives and discovered the National Park Tambopata. That said, I have booked the flight on Uber's Internet with Star Peru, so I have also invested a little money and then I have booked yet another 5 taeg tour.
Am Dienstag 21.09.2010 gings dann los! Our flight was originally scheduled to take place at 09.40 am, but we had to get up early because there was a strike in Cusco and we were told that the taxis would only run until 07.00 am in the morning! So a Sch…. also we grabbed a taxi at 07.00 and drove to the airport! There were naturally extremely many people at the airport, all of whom had taken a taxi so early, even after the flight had left at 12.00hrs or even faster! Now, we check one and we meet together in a cafe.
Arriving in Puerto Maldonado, we were quickly exhausted by the humidity and heat. That war was really extreme. Although I was in Bolivia at that time, I also flew from La Paz to NP Madidi, but it was here that he died.
Lodge Explorer Inn…unser Zimmer….
The words were very extreme. The Schweiss loves only so…. 🙂 Our guide (Ed) and two other guides (Marco and Juan) hold us now and with us at least a boy from Holland (England and Romania) and a girl from LA and England. . “Ed” stood in front of us and said, he would be our guide for the next week. In the Bureau of Explorers we took us to a quick walk, which was done through heavy hiking shoes in sandals, to find out the holes and we still paid the fees for the National Park (Sol. 65.– /ca. USD 21.–). Lost the ride. With the bus on bad land roads (Naturroads) through the forest. We flew ca. 1 1/2h and then we changed to the boot, the ride took ca. also 2h.
We arrived in the hall and toured our room. I had a room with Stephanie and a private bathroom, all made of wood, which I really liked.
Round the lodge there was the Rainforest and a loud Geraeuschkulisse, it sizzled, it sizzled… easy all, it was already cool! Have the headphones on my I-Pod :-)) Now I can listen to some jungle music at any time 🙂
We love to look for the sunset point and see a super beautiful sunset.
Um 20.00Uhr
our bathroom
gab es dan natassen. As we then wanted to return to the room, Marco (also a guide) spoke to us and asked us if we wanted to do a night excursion with him. Who will show us the spiders? Stephanie and I started talking immediately. We still quickly put on our hiking shoes and the jeans. Just like on a tree, a huge bird's-spinner emerged from its net. This is already a special fuel, for traveling in the forest at night with a flashlight. The Geraeuschkullisse is gewaltig, überall raschelt es and zirrpt es. In this world war, we even switched on our lamps while walking in the dark and were running in the dark…. the war was already crazy! As I then switched on my flashlight again, I saw a hole in the ground and a big black spines disappearing into it. I called Marco and he said we should switch on our lamps. He took one of the storks and stones in Loch Herum and said, now we can turn on the lamps again and behold, a huge black bird's-spinner comes down to view, which… also he and Stephanie have maintained a certain distance, while Marco coolly frolics fast. Kneel next to the spine! We still saw different insects and chirping with each other, it was a cool walk.
Black Vogelspinne at 1. Night Spaziergang
Marco was not actually our guide, we tried to get no one on the walk this morning, we did not want to, because he was actually our guide. Unfortunately he was not so special, he did not have the same ingenuity in the jungle as Marco did. At 05.00 we lost our tour. We live by Lake Cocococha and hope to see the giant nightjar. On the paths we see various small animals, such as Vogel and Effchen, and a Coral Snake (Orange, black striped) also crawls in front of my mouth. She was a wonder, Marco and Ed explained to us, that she was gifted and rare to see. She also disappeared quite quickly into Dickicht and I forgot to make a footel because I was so overexcited 🙂
Now, we continued the tour and came to see us at about 08.15 o'clock. This war has already brought extreme heat and despair. The sea was so amazing, it was as smooth as a mirror and the bottoms were round and reflected in the water!
We took two Kanus (6 tourists with 2 guides). These two Kanus were connected to each other, like a double Kanu and the guides were paddled and lost. We flew on that see and
An insect, like this “Steckli” on a leaf…
Looking at the egg from above and seeing that we had glue on the egg lying next to each other, there was an otter family, which was sprouting, feeding and fishing in the fresh air. We couldn't get close to see them, but it was great to see them. These are truly herculean animals and truly intelligent!
After life we return wider. We went there so that when the midday time arrived and in the afternoon we could then make what we wanted. Marco loved me and thought that he still had the desire to do more photos, then who would he and Stephanie go running together with him in the afternoon. We smiled and said, because he really was still a guide, he had a good knowledge, resp. die nature und wizelte gerne herum. Suddenly we saw a small green snake in the pond, which just spied a frog :-), it was still interesting to watch, the poor frog had no chance, while he still jumped, the snake jumped him!
After that afternoon session, Ed said that we would shape the afternoon ourselves, David and Claudia thought that they would relax a bit and the other two girls didn't even want to run anymore, I and Stephanie just smiled and then went to Marco and our boys.
Riesenameise….when these seeds, then they are very beautiful…
los gings. In the afternoon it was extremely hot in the forest, the Schweiss loved us only so much, Marco showed us different types of trees (there is even a knobbloch tree, when one points at the trunk, then one has the feeling of having a knobbloch in the hands) also seen there's a squirrel and a little brown effervescent :-). It is still hard to discover the animals in the trees and the trees! It was a cool tour and we three had a lot of fun together! Um ca. At 16.00 we came back and ran straight into the lodge to take a refreshing shower! We were right mad! “Ed” then came over to us and said, while at 18.00 we did a night walk together with the others. We sigh now, because we and Marco have already agreed to go running again after dinner at 21.00 o'clock!
So relaxed we became a little girl, Stephanie came and I wrote in the diary…
We have got new neighbors. So the Dutch, they were extremely lazy! I was afraid, as I woke up, that they would come again tomorrow! After 18.00hr it is dark, so we can no longer read or write (it has no electricity) so we sit in the black light.
In the night one sees everything magical
On our terrace and enjoy the jungle sound. After dinner we went again to Marco and the gings. He led us to the river, because Stephanie wanted to see the Caiman (Crocodilar). The eyes of the caimans glow red at night! Also, if we walked slowly through trees (not on the usual paths), then we came to these earth stairs, which were really steep and on the earth's paths were mostly like these deadly scorpionspinnen! Ahh, if only I could dance, I would concentrate on you, so that you don't slip without slipping! We then came to the river runner (it was more like a slide party in the sand) and Marco had taken a big flashlight. When the water level is dry and really further away, we see a few Caimans lying on the sandbank.
We went back into the world, we started ploddingly, we started trampling all over our nose, it was like the Gefusle something was running at us! Stephanie and that fragile Marco, this was then, this was a small tier with a funnel and the falls should have broken out somewhere in the dick and were on us, then we should have simply gone to the page, that is not stopping! Ahhh, both of us were straining to sleep, but there was nothing more to do, thank God!
Scorpionspinne….
We came healthy and died in the lodge. But I must say that the night walks were already fantastic!
In the morning we stood again early and drove with the boot to Colpa Cucho. This is a camping night before us. David and Claudia were there as well as Paarchen von Holland. We reached the camping site at ca. 12.00 hrs. This war is a dreukend heiss. At “Ed”, we would relax a bit or go swimming in the river, at 14.30 we would then go to the island and take a walk. Me and Stephanie decided to let us lie down on a bed, since we hadn't really had much sleep and because of that our tent was in the shade so it wasn't so big. The others went swimming, at 14.30 they then swam with the boat to the island and saved their lives. It was a real dickish thing and one had to sit again and again to see where one was hinting! All was extremely gray, he had cool big breasts, he saw her beautiful eyes and eyes! When we got back to the camping site, we all went to swim in the river again, because there was no shower in the camping site and we were all drenched! I went in
Marco (Guide)
The water, however, remained more on the shore, as it had a fairly strong current, so when we came out of the river, we were caught by the sandflies. Also ehrlich, these little beasts!!!! ich weiss nicht fuer was Sie zunutze sind!!! (and naturally I have used mouse spray). The sun went down… The sunset was simply fantastic!
The next morning we stood up early, because we wanted to see the parrots and the macaws. There is such an earth wall near the river, the parrots fly there early in the morning and eat/slick this earth. The earth contained minerals and salt. Unfortunately we were too enfeebled. We see the papayas only as green and red dots! Also it was quite scary that we never dared to run! So I couldn't take good photos even with my good Zoom. At the same time we also watched the parrots from the fern on our hook behind the grass and the parrots were covered by the sandflies (trotz spray). Ahh, my hair, they are really swollen. I had hair like elephants!
Went back to the lodge again and ate something similar to a cream. Also if I got worried like the camping war, then
I would have liked to have seen more of that now… the rest was really cool!
All in all I liked the tour very well. The jungle is really a special place and I love these animals to watch! We had Glueck, that Marco was there and so we enjoyed a few private tours, that was already cool 🙂
