on the market…
Hello together
So, I am back again from Lares Trek. I really liked this. Unfortunately the weather was not so optimal, but we had glue, that it is always the first time to rain, when we have already set up our gold!
Sodeli, from the beginning… also I have met Christian (Guide of Salkantay Trek) and first, he has proposed another trek, but since they are in Peru, it is complicated with the Organization of Treks. In Peru this goes on by itself, even when someone else is there. B. comes from Puno, but remains in Cuzco, must then travel to Puno and give his voice there. If one does not drive, one is punished with a bus (Sol. 180.–, ca. US 60.–). That's a lot of money here! And the people in the mountains have to go to the next nearest locality, that is, in part they have to wander for several days or spend money to get to the mountain. Yes, it looks like this in Switzerland but a little different from it 🙂
We drove on Wednesday morning with the Auto (so a Combi, when it was full, that is, with 4 people, then headed towards Urubamba). Arriving there we went to the market hall, we expected
on the market…
Casiano (father of Julio, who was the cook during the Salkantay Trek). He bought some loose food and watched it move in the market. I love domestic brands! We then took a Tuk-Tuk (Motortaxi) out of Urubamba, where we then went to Casianao with his 4 horses. All were loaded and we headed towards Pacchac (ca. 4h trek). The landscape was wonderful. All was extremely gray and he even had whites! (These whites grow up to 4500m, still not extreme. We live along the river and hang our yellows on a shoe platform (at 4000m) directly next to the river. We three rowed in the “Kochzelt” near the Gaskocher together, that is As soon as it got dark, Casiano cooked us a nice dinner (Gemuse soup, Forelle and rice) and we went to sleep. Puhh…. it was very cold at night, despite the good sleepsack!
We stood there early in the morning (06.30 Uhr). After the morning they slowly lost their love, where Christian and Cassiano lost the horses. We stand a 6 h hike before the ascent of the Passes Pumawanka (4700m). The landscape was fantastic, the man went deep into the valley. But I found it quite stressful and war
In the market hall…
Froh, as we reached the pass :-). The path was rocky and steep, the horses also had their faces! I was proud as we reached the pass and left our first mountain! Ah, my body! Christians worshiped Pacha Mama (Mutter Earth) in which they made a clay pot made of stone and placed Coca-Blatter and Bombos in it as offerings.
Es zogen dicke dark clouds auf. We made us on the way, because we still had a small pot before us and the way was not easy. Meistens Geroell und Stein. On the way we passed many mountain views. That's really fantastic with the mountains in the background! We came here to the village of Cuncan (3800m) and slung our hats on, since it was raining heavily and even raining! (Zum Glueck were only small Hagelkoerner!)
Wow, the fear of that, that we were in the dry and not on the descent, that we had become a sliding party!
It was cooked and we sat again in the “Kochzelt” under the Gaskocher herum, schwazten and tranken Tee. Also I was already heavily impressed by the cook utensils of Casiano, when he died, he had further help materials in the cook and he also had a few
Preparation for the trek. Christian and Casiano…
Pans and a gas cooker conjure up an entire menu. This darkness is quite fast, yes. And he was the only person who had a flashlight. Cassiano had bought batteries for his flashlight, but these did not work and Christian had none :-). So I gave him my flashlight, so he could cook and then we sat down in the dark (ha…ha… it's like I had a bird like in the restaurant “Blinde Kuh” in Zurich :-)) (uebrigens the restaurant Can I really recommend it, it is already extreme, when one sits in the dark and almost does not see one's teller and simply looks at the teller!)
The night was a little warmer as in the 1st. Maybe I was also easier to sleep and sleep better 🙂
This morning we had a friendly walk before, namely ca. 2 1/2h to the village Lares and the hot springs. The sun shone and the village woke up… We lived along the land road… and reached the golden springs at midday. Dare I camp there! One must imagine the world, which looks like a city, with different walls and one can simply place one's gold on it.
Unterwegs nach Pacchac an Inkaruinen pass…
Wiese aufschlagen, schon cool! We brought our gold on and our fingers started raining again…. We were like that, I was snapping in the bikini and I was already in the pool. Ahh, here's to lying in the hot water, while it rains cool raindrops on the head from above 🙂
She also grew bald again. The weather was really extremely changeable. Casiano brought me some food (and then put it on the gas burner in the kitchen top!) It was really very exciting, as he felt happy, to celebrate my completion of the trek. We drank all three beans, snorted and laughed, Christian dared to hit the glasses, Cassiano decorated the cake and I dared to write something on it 🙂 So we had a fine glass of coffee (coffee, resp. tea and cake 🙂
After that they and Christian go to the village to clear it, as we come back to Cuzco, because you can't take the road and it is closed from 09.00 to 18.00. D.h. We had to leave at 04.00 in the morning!
After those fine dinners we drank more wine and then we came to Gluewein at the top :-). The wine was placed in the top and it was an apple embedded in it! I have only one dog
Lunch at a farming family. A farmer offers us his hay to compete and Casino buys us a supplement…
After getting drunk, I noticed that the wine was making me sad and we all went to bed, because we had to get up at 2.40 in the morning! Puhh war das Frueh!
In Hergottsfruehe we stood up, packed everything together and lived for the bush. At the same time I must have lost it in my life. Also people, have no birth more! Without this, only uber e-mail is accessible!
In the darkness we will lose. The street was extremely curved and narrow so it was a real big building. If one car came close to the other, the other car had to drive back a part of the stack, until it came to a suitable place, where they could cross. After ca. In 4h we reached Cuzco. I was afraid as if I had arrived at the host 🙂
I really liked the trek. The landscape was fantastic, Christian is a super guide and Casiano a good cook :-)! I would like to make a trek with you again anytime 🙂
