The big weatherbuddha is me today, well-fed and blessed with at least no rain. I can also explore Hangzhou again from 8.30 in Chinese style. With my clip-on bicycle I also started my hiking tour around the Westsee with my golden water-buffel, which has blessed this region in history with almost always rich water. Passing by innumerable temples, whose names have already been forgotten, they captured a little of Chinese life.

While I walked comfortably with my ol' Starbucks coffee on the floor, I watched the morning dances of the population. Hence, Westsee is a favorite photographic motif for weddings and all kinds of Chinese portrait photos. Most of the wedding photos take place in the water today, because it is relatively windy and the Westsee is covered with some capricorns.

Treat my already booked return journey by train to Shanghai again in the late afternoon. Train rides are still an experience. Also through security controls in an overflowing chamber. Das Gleis betrit man erst ca. 15. Minutes before departure. Then begins the most exciting part. The entire queue tries to press through 6 repeated ticket controls. The heights while sleeping are due to the Chinese population being strangers. Here it goes to give its place in the sun, although a climb into the train is only possible with reservation. Overcrowded express trains such as for example from Hamburg to Munich do not actually exist. Sei es drum.

In Shanghai we will see the new hostel in Pudong with a look at the “Flaschenoffner” and the “Fackel”. After a day alone I met Tom from Sweden and the golden combo cat, Anna and Benny. Tom and I will give our plans for Kneipentour on and transfer the get-together with the rest in our hostel's own courtyard. There is enough conversation material and so the evening is relatively long…
