The Suddenly Susan Actress shared a post to Instagram on Thursday, May 15, In Celebration of Her Daughter, Rowan Henchy, Turning 22.
In the post, shields shared a series of intimate photos taken throughout henchy's life – from getting ready for bathy for bathtime as a baby, to shimmering in silver along Grown-up.
“Happy 22nd Birthday to the girl who made me a mom,” The 59-year-old captioned the post. “She's as funny as she is smart and as far as she is beautiful. I love you so much, rowan. I'm so proud of you !! And to a party.” Shields and Longtime Husband, Film Director Chris Henchy (Entourage, Impractical jokers: the movie), also share 18-year-old daughter, gray.

In Shields' 2024 People Interview with Rowan and Grier, She Reflected on Her Girls Growing Up and Stepping into their adult personalities.
“When you realize they are their own human beings, you get to meet them again,” Shields said in the feature. “To have them reveal themselves to you, it's a new type of relationship. I didn Bollywood them but I protected them enough so that they should become who they are and i get out of the way.”
